Hi all
Charlie Kendell and I did some touring and visiting in the Economy area today. We had 2 Grackles and the Red-bellied Woodpecker at my Plymouth feeder as we were leaving.
On arriving at Economy Pt. we had a Red-bellied Woodpecker which has been present in the area for a couple of days. Some of the following might be additions to the winter list. Purple Finch, Northern Parula, and a fly-over Snow Bunting and 2 Red-tailed Hawks. 2 Hairy Woodpeckers, a couple of Common Merganser, 1 Northern Shrike, 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk.
At Saint's Rest, we had 3 each Black and Surf Scoter.
Lower Debert Beach had some shorebirds, 2 Black-bellied Plover, 8 Red knot, 20 Sanderling and 10 Dunlin.

After I arrived home, I had a call from Brad MacLaughlin and he had the Says Phoebe at Economy Pt. for about 15 min. from 2:15-2:30. He had seen it yesterday as well at about
10:00.
cheers
ken
