I had a female Baltimore oriole eating multiflora berries beside my 
feeders this afternoon. Hastily put out some fresh orange (the only 
available fruit I had at that moment), The bird did not stay long and 
did not touch the orange. Poor creature; I wonder if it will survive 
tonight's low temperature......
