Hi all
Like the Dovekie that Patrick mentioned, Charlie Kendell and I photographed a Thick-billed Murre in the dykelands off the TCH at Truro on Dec. 29. It flew in and landed about 50 m from us. We were able to sneak up close to get shots of it on the grass. It was on the other side of a hard to cross channel. It later flew in the direction of Bible Hill away from the Bay of Fundy. Charlie was later speaking with a hunter who said he photographed one/ or it a couple days previously. It was a tough day for us for the Truro CBC with very strong winds.
cheers
Ken
