I visited Mrs Helen Sharp in Margaretville Monday in the hope of seeing her
red-bellied woodpecker, and was very fortunate to get pictures of it.
I asked the good lady if I could pass the word , and received this reply

"Certainly you may give them my phone number and/or address. Bird People
are always welcome.
Tell them to drive in and park on my side at any time. People carrying
binoculars or cameras are Birders, and we (both houses) are always glad to
have them. They may use the whole driveway to go out without having to back
out, and it keeps cars off the side of the road. Just safer and easy. And
do bring your wife on one of your jaunts. It was nice to have you here to
see "my bird". I don't believe anyone else has seen him. Now with the
photo it makes it worthwhile for someone to come to see him. They will know
for sure that he is here. For sure he is here in the mornings. Well, I
really can't say for sure. I first noticed him on 24 November 2011!!!, and
two days later, as he was still around, I Emailed Wayne Neily. "

The phone number is 825-4280
Address: My civic address is 166 Seaman Street Margaretville.
