The Gallinule was active and was swimming openly today around noonish. As I approached along the road next to the apartment building closest to the area where the Gallinule is usually seen, I did notice a bird feeding in the reedy area (closest to the Irving area) where the food has (I think) been placed by Tuma & others. Am not 100% sure but as I made my way around to the road next to Irving, the Gallinule was the only bird seen, so assume it was the same bird feeding on the offerings. It appeared to be in good shape, bright and aware.

Sincerely,

Gayle MacLean
