The Gallinule was active and was swimming openly today around noonish. As I approached along the road next to the apartment building closest to the area where the Gallinule is usually seen, I did notice a bird feeding in the reedy area (closest to the Irving area) where the food has (I think) been placed by Tuma & others. Am not 100% sure but as I made my way around to the road next to Irving, the Gallinule was the only bird seen, so assume it was the same bird feeding on the offerings.
