Turned around and pulled up by it and it didnt fly away. Turned again and was getting out of the car to find my gloves and he flew away rather low to the ground as he had some yummy roadkill in his talons. I interrupted his supper, how rude! Also reminded me to push roadkill off the road when I see it as a lot of the raptor patients we get are hit by a car as they scavenge roadkill.
