For those of you with an interest in moths, an important new book has
finally become available. It's called "The Owlet Caterpillars of Eastern
North America", and deals with the family Noctuidae, or Owlets. This
book was first announced months ago, and is now available for purchase.
It has over 2100 colour photos and covers about 800 species, and for 375
of those species adult photos are included as well.

This is a companion volume to "Caterpillars of Eastern North America"
which came out in 2005 - same publisher, and the author of
"Caterpillars..." is one of the authors of this new book.

There's more information from the publisher here:
http://press.princeton.edu/titles/9420.html . The book can be ordered
directly from them, or considerably more cheaply (about $25) from
Chapters/Indigo.
