I just finished entering my data online for the Lunenburg Christmas Bird Co=
unt from this year=2C which was run on Jan. 2.  Some things of note.  In th=
e 11 years that we have been sending data through=2C new birds were wood du=
ck=2C and hermit thrush.  There were a number of species that had the highe=
st count this year.  They were common grackle=2C red-winged blackbird=2C br=
own-headed cowbird=2C and barred owl.
There were a number of birds also that had the lowest count this year.  The=
y were ring-necked pheasant=2C ruffed grouse=2C blue jay=2C white-breasted =
nuthatch=2C American tree sparrow=2C and pine siskin.  A lot of species see=
n in prior years were missing.
