Hi Paul, Mar 5, 2012
This likely has as many variations as one can imagine but I vaguely =
recall being told it was Jack Frost's grandmother plucking her geese.

In this contex, of sticking snow that does not stick (last long) is =
the weather saying "Snow stick, no stick; no stick, stick." =20

Hi Paul, from my skiing days we had the saying 'big snow =3D little =
snow' and 'little snow =3D big snow'. So keeping that in mind we =
shouldn't be having much lay down.. Pretty out there thou. Glad I don't =
have to go anywhere. Heather in Halifax.

  Hi All
This morning there are big flakes of snow gentlely falling.
Coating the trees - just lovely.
My Grandmother used to say it was "somebody" plucking a goose.
An old Maritime saying. But I cann't remember who "somebody" was!
A mythical figure I'm sure - can anyone help me out?
  Thanks
  Paul
