Index of Subjects Marg, I have the identical problem. As well, a few over-enthusiastic avians actual tore holes in the sock but I have that crudely stitched. I wondered about using an old pantihose toe but maybe too fine a mesh for them to peck out the seeds. Maybe just buy a new sock if I wasn't such a good Scotsman! Ken MacAulay Port Mouton, NS
