March 20/12:

Port Williams Sewage Ponds: a few Grackles but no ducks

New Minas west end - D.U. / Stella's Pond:

Canada Geese: 2 (possibly a pair looking to nest on the island ?)

Red-w. Blackbirds : several sitting in surrounding trees/shrubs

Van Nostrand's pond/ D.U. pond, Starr's Point:

Canada Geese: 6

Ring-necked Ducks: 2 males

Mallards: 2m 2f + others heard but not seen

Killdeer: 2 (both calling)

Cardinal: heard across the McGee Rd from pond

On my way home a brown BAT flitted across the road just north of the traffic
lights intersection in Greenwich by the Blomidon Garden Nursery.

Cheers,
Judy Tufts
