Hi All=0ASuch a nice day we took our fly rod and done some paddling in a ne=
ar by lake.=0AThe fish both native, invasive or otherwise were not interest=
ed so I am cooking store trout=A0=0Afor supper. Smells good though!=0AAltho=
ugh the lake is a good lake for water birds, none in residence yet, just a =
few crows=0Aat one end - they acted like there was something to eat in the =
woods but we didn't look.=0AA Mushrat was building a house. It was swimming=
maybe 100 m out into the lake and=A0=0Acarrying stuff from the bottom to t=
he house. Looked like water loged sticks. It would swim=A0=0Aa long piece b=
efore the house was finished.=0ABeavers were in the lake also although we d=
idn't see any. They had chewed the bark from the base=0Aof a red maple and =
the sap was running. The sap had gathered so many flies the chewed off=0Aar=
ea was black. Beavers helping flies! Another spot we saw a number of stick =
on=0Athe lake bottom. The beavers had eaten all the bark of them and left t=
hem as bright as=0Acould be on the lake bottom.=A0=0AAnd then we were lucky=
enough to meet a couple of fellow anglers and we had=0Aa nice talk about l=
akes we had visited.=0AA great day=0APaul
