Hi all:
=20
On the way to the field trip just beyond the turn off for Tim Hortons in Sh=
elburne=2C there was a turkey vulture perched beside the road. On the way =
back we also saw this bird in the same spot soaring. =20
=20
It was a good day with 58 species tallied that I know of. Highlights were =
an Eastern Phoebe between Blanche and Port LaTour thanks to the sharp eyes =
of Kevin Lantz. At the entrance to the Blance Peninsula 13 yellow-rumped w=
arblers=2C which were over-wintering birds. At Bacarro very good looks at =
two snowy owls=2C compliments of Ronnie and Sharron D'Entremont. We saw fo=
ur brant flying off of Bacarro thanks to the sharp eyes of Clarence Stevens=
II. At Crows Neck Beach was a sanderling and two piping plovers. =20
