I'm thinking this may be only the second report east of Yarmouth Co. ? On the "River Road" between Gaspereau & Melanson (Kings Co), just a bit east of Gaspereau, the Miner & Duncanson farms are adjacent. Between the two on the N side of the road there is abandoned orchard with a number of tree swallow houses placed there. This bird was on the power line wires right beside these boxes, so I consider it to be "on territory" to the extent that this applies to this species. This was about 8:30 AM April 3rd. Rick Whitman
