Hi All=2C
   I observed a pair of BASW checking out a nearby barn here yesterday. The=
y were around in early morning and returned in the evening. I'm not sure if=
 there were just looking for a possible nesting site or just a comfortable =
roost.=20
   My experience with with early arriving swallows=2C mostly TRSW=2C is the=
y hang around for a few days check out nest boxes and move on. Real breedin=
g behavior doesn't take place until mid May. But this is by far the earlies=
t I've ever seen swallows in this area so I'm not sure how this will play o=
ut in the end. All the best.
