Hi All=2C
I use Dunlop Purofort rubber boots which will be familiar to many comme=
rcial fishermen out there. I've been wearing them constantly now for over t=
hree years without a sign of cracking or even heavy wear. They weigh a thir=
d less than regular rubber boots and=2C with good heavy socks and insoles=
=2C are as comfortable as slippers even on long hikes over rough terrain. T=
hey are expensive (over $100.00) but well worth it for those who want to st=
ay dry in boggy areas=2C wet fields and crossing small streams.
I bought mine at the Neils Harbour Fisherman's Co-op but they are most lik=
ely available at other stores. All the best.

All - on the weekend=2C Krista and I went up north and along with Fritz=2C =
had a good walk-about and got two nest boxes erected. See an amusing photo =

We talked about many things=2C including=2C as naturalists will=2C Rubber B=
oots. I have been buying about one pair of insulated rubber boots a year=2C=
usually just from Canadian Tire. Fritz uses better quality boots (I forget=
the brand...Fritz?) which last longer=2C but are more expensive. What are =
others' preferences?
