On April 14=2C I took Joyce Allen up to see the Red-headed woodpecker at Pl=
easant River. It looks great now with full adult plumage. The red stood o=
ut nicely in the sun. We also had a turkey vulture come flying over=2C of =
which our hosts tell me it is the first one they have ever seen there. =20
=20
At Wileville we had a barn swallow. The snow geese at Branch LaHave have g=
one off to nicer pastures. They left about four days ago. =20
=20
On April 15=2C I had a yellow-rumped warbler in full song at Rhodes Corner.=
 =20
=20
Also on April 15=2C I watched a female northern cardinal going with a large=
mouthful of grass along the Lunenburg Back Harbour Trail.
