When I arrived at work early yesterday, there was a Raven in hot pursuit going full throttle after a pigeon, and as per usual this time of year there was an entourage of crows in an uproar over the Raven. It was pretty obvious that this Raven wasn't going to give up easily, and he eventually knocked the pigeon right out of the air and right into a large open bin being utilized by a demolition crew. Eventually the Raven emerged from the bin with its catch, jumped down onto the parking lot, and began to devour its hard earned prized meal:

With much less effort, I watched two Ravens spend close to an hour checking out the small island with the lighthouse at Sullivans Pond Dartmouth, and coming out with the occasional goose egg. I can't say for certain if there had been a sitting potential parent or not, but when I viewed several of the geese swim to the island, they seemed to be less agitated than one would think under the circumstances:

After what I witnessed earlier in the day , it struck me as to the number of pigeons roosting in a tree just a few feet away from the model lighthouse and the two Ravens.
