Thanks Richard for that 'play on words'. I do think that Nova Scotia has a=
little bit of heaven everywhere. I am bird watching (birding) on Cape Sab=
le Island today. It does not get much better than that.=20

I guess Garden of Eden (Pictou Co.) isn't that close to Paradise=2C Annap. =
Co. Is there a Heaven in NS=2C or can we say the whole Province is a little=
bit of it? - Sorry - felt compelled to say it!

Hi all
I am forwarding a message from Steve Vines on he and Amber's Sunnybrae to G=
arden of Eden=2C (Pictou Co.) owl survey from Friday May 4. =20
Hey Guys=2C
=20
We did our owl survey on Friday night. It was a beautiful night for it and=
certainly the brightest night I have ever done an owl survey with a near "=
Super Moon" (Full moon with the moon closest to earth in its orbit). Our re=
sults were unusual for this route=2C we usually get several Barreds=2C a Sa=
w-whet or two and if we are lucky one Great Horned. Friday we detected 7 G=
reat Horned=2C 2 of which I believe to be repeats so likely 5 owls. The 2 =
repeats made me reconsider just how far a Great Horned call can carry becau=
se when I heard them the first time they must have been 1.5 Km away. We al=
so had 3 Barred owls=2C one that flew in to check us out. We had Woodcock =
at every stop but the last which is also unusual since we gernerally only h=
ave them at the first 2 stops. Also had peepers=2C toads=2C geese and snipe=
. A good night!
