Thank you, Bernard for posting these. There are days in our lives when you just happen to be in the right orbit and can witness something like this! :o)
I do wonder just how old this turtle might be? And if you notice on the back of its shell there is a round hole that goes right through. Am wondering what might have caused it, someone suggested that maybe someone was keeping it as a 'pet' and had a rope attached to it. I can't imagine anyone foolish enough to have a Snapping Turtle as a pet though!
