Last evening here on Pepperell St, Hfx. I had heard a terrible crow
commotion across the street from my house. Crows were sounding off at a
horrible pitch and swarming the elm tree across from the house. I looked for
an owl but couldn't spot it. This went on for half an hour stopping traffic and
bringing neighbors out their doors. Finally they all flew off in the direction
away from me and I couldn't see if a preditor did too. They were still being
noisey but now one street over.
I don't know what else upsets them.
