The main talk will be Atlantic Coastal Plain Flora by Alain Belliveau. =20= The Atlantic Coastal Plain Flora (ACPF) is a group of 90 species of =20 wetland plants that inhabit our lake and river shores, bogs, fens, and =20= estuaries. Some of the world=92s largest and least disturbed ACPF =20 populations are located here in Nova Scotia. Alain Belliveau is a Masters student at Dalhousie University=92s School =20= of Resource and Environmental Management. Alain=92s research focus has =20= been the examination of a number of lakes in southwestern Nova Scotia =20= for red- and yellow-listed ACPF species to determine, among other =20 things, their distribution and population health.
