--Apple-Mail-40--283815613 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed JUNE 28, 2012 - Again today I checked two more bald eagle nests: (1) the Scots' Bay nest just east of the Fire Hall and Community Centre had no eagles in or near the nest, and Ian McKay and Kim Huskins agree there were never any noticeable youngsters there this year; and (2) the nest in the cliff-top trembling aspen poplar at Blomidon still holds two very large and feathered-out nestlings/fledglings -- this nest is 2.5 km. north of the Stewart Mountain Road and east of the road to Blomidon Prov. Park (and it's 1.4 km. n. of the Mill Creek sign.
