Hi Rob and all: =20
=20
Between Amherst Point and the marsh at the New Brunswick/Nova Scotia Border=
=2C we heard only about three sora rails. Just a note by me=2C as a person=
al observation=2C which might or might not be valid. The water level in th=
e marsh system is very high=2C so I suspect that this might have hurt nesti=
ng success for the rails and in my opinion has cut down on the numbers of t=
he rails present in the system. Anyone who is there at night and can actua=
lly comment on the numbers of rails in the marsh system this year=2C I woul=
d be interested in hearing your thoughts on this or if you think rail numbe=
rs are down there this year. My comments are only based on two brief visit=
s during the day there. =20
