In previous years = barn swallows nested on the rafters of the barn, but this is the first = year there have been cliff swallows. There are about 30 nests on the = large doors opening into the barn and the owners are thrilled to have = them. I have just had a monarch in my garden joining the great variety of = butterflies we have enjoyed here this year.
