Hi All
Again last night we were on the river. A different part and a little breezier.
The part where we were is a big meadow rising into a red maple flood plain.
Always a good place for birds but little visited.
At dark a Night Hawk flew low back and forth over the meadow. Put on
a fine display of flying at close range. Haven't seen many so far this year
so perhaps that one was a resident of the area not yet migrating,
At the same time White Perch started to take the fly so we had action in the air
and in the water. A fine evening.
Enjoy the summer
Paul
