It would seem I was a lucky spectator to the late morning exit of 24+?
Chimney Swifts leaving their Wolfville RTN chimney roost this morning around
11:30 am. The damp start to the day was obviously not very conducive to an
early hunt for a meal on the wing. I was leaving the SDM parking lot
heading across Main St when I was aware of chattering swifts. Looking up
they appeared in small excitable groups from the direction of the chimney
(just behind the facing row of shops), did quick circles and then headed
southwards.

Cheers,
Judy Tufts
