August 3

Today we had thick fog but we did see some birds. A couple of birders said
they saw a Skua, lots of Wilson's Storm-Petrels, lots of Great and Sooty
Shearwaters, Gannets, hundreds of Phalaropes, and 4 humpback whales.
Everyone had a great time.

August 4

On the first trip we had very few birds but on the second trip we saw
hundreds of phalaropes, several Wilson's Storm-Petrels, 1 puffin, and lots
of Great & Sooty Shearwaters. 8 Humpbacks the first trip, 6 the last trip,
lots of Harbour Porpoises. We had a great day.

August 6-7

Yesterday we had thick fog and we had thousands of phalaropes (honestly it
was amazing) and we also had a whale breach 20 times. Today was quiet for
birds =96 2 Puffins, 6 Sooty and 20 Great Shearwaters, a few Gannets and a
hundred or so Phalaropes, four humpbacks, and a few harbour porpoises. We
all had a great time both days.

August 8

We enjoyed two wonderful trips today. On the first trip we had several
Great & Sooty Sherawaters, hundreds of phalaropes, 5 Wilson=92s
Storm-Petrels.  On the second trip it was rather guiet except for several
Great Shearwaters and a few Gannets.  Lots of humpbacks (13), flipper
slapping, tail breaching, and close approach. Everyone, including us, had a
great time.
