Here are some scenic and bird pictures from our trip to Cape Island today -
particularly the Buff-breasted Sandpipers. There are 2 pages of images, and
a menu you can click on to re-size or get the Exif data.

For people interested in photography, these were taken with an Olympus OM-D
EM5 Micro-4/3 camera and Panasonic 100-300 or Olympus 12-50mm. lenses. It's
much smaller, lighter and easier to carry around than the Nikon D7000+300
F/4 AF-S +1.7x TC that I have been using, and most of the time the image
quality is as good, but it's harder to get good sharp birds in flight, and
because of the smaller sensor the background blurring isn't as good as the
dSLR. Everything 's a compomise!
