Dear All, Sept 5, 2012
Voyager 1 (Chron.Hrld. Sept. 5; B5) is about to exit the Solar system
"...which is enveloped in a giant plasma bubble. This hot and turbulent area
is created by a stream of charged particles from the sun." "Outside the
bubble...scientists expect a calmer environment."
Why would charged particles from the sun (inverse square law) have a
greater effect just beyond the solar system than near the sun ?
