Marbled Godwit was still in the depression in the middle of the
harbour preening at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday 12 September.

Thanks to all for their updates.

Quoting Angus MacLean <angusmcl@ns.sympatico.ca>:

> The Marbled Godwit was still present at Wolfville Harbour this
> afternoon. Arrived about 2 p.m., about an hour before low tide but the
> mudflats were all exposed. No godwit in sight. While walking around to
> get a better angle, I heard it call but still couldn't find it. A mixed
> flock of Yellowlegs (~15) flew in & finally noted the godwit in a
> narrow depression in the mudflat about the middle of the harbour. It
> was well hidden.
>
> Also present was 1 Solitary (previously noted by others). I had also
> saw a small flock of peeps while I was watching the godwit but could
> not relocate them.
>
> Thanks to Bernard for finding the godwit & to Rick for alerting everyone.
