I have never seen so many destroyed nests, probably indicating that =
there were many nests in the first place.

  Subject: [NatureNS] Wasp Year

  Hi all:
  =20
I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but this year seems to have been =
a big one for wasps. I've over the past two weeks seen more wasp nests =
then I've seen in any given year. I've seen sizeable nests at the hike =
out to Peter's Point at Keji, along the Centennial Trail in Bridgewater, =
along the Back Harbour Trail in Lunenburg, along the Dynamite Trail in =
Clearland, on what I call the Fauxburg Trail behind Mahone Bay, at Long =
Hill, Mahone Bay, on the way to Conrad's Island in Lower Rose Bay, at =
Port Medway today, the largest of them all. I photographed it due to =
it's immense size, and along the Black Rock Pink Trail (Waterville in =
Kings County). Those are just the ones that come quickly to mind.
