All:

As there have been for over a week now, there were numerous shorebirds
late this morning on the Golf Course and harbour-side beach at HP, and
moving between them with disturbance by a few golfers.

All told, I estimate there were about 55 Golden Plover (more than
previously), 4 Black-bellied Plover, 5 Pectoral Sandpiper (and no
Buff-breasted or Bairds), about 75 Semi.Sandpipers and 20 Semi.
Plover. These birds, especially the plovers, may stick around until
northwest winds encourage over-water exodus.
