Late this morning there were 16 American Wigeon in the first pond. I did =
not have time to visit the second one as they have made it a bit more =
difficult to get to with piles of gravel and dirt on the old trail. =
There was also a very young and skinny looking DC Cormorant looking very =
out of place. 8 Green-winged Teal and the usual 45 or so Black Ducks and =
20 Mallards. Surprising few gulls today - they must be doing well =
somewhere else. No peeps or geese, which was surprising. as it was near =
to high tide.
