Subject: Re: [NatureNS] Road Kill
Being hit by cars is the #1 reason I get injured wildlife, especially =
raptors. In every educational program I do, I talk to people about =
moving roadkill off the road, a ways off the road if possible, as long =
as it's safe to do so. Many bald eagles are struck each year ( 2 just =
last week) when scavenging on the road or shoulder. I keep a shovel in =
my car for just that reason.
