    I was sorry to hear that the US Coast Guard had abandoned it's search f=
or the missing captain of the HMS Bounty today after four days of searching=
. One of the reasons the search lasted as long as it did was because the ca=

   I was wondering why survival suits don't have a GPS location device buil=
t into the suit? The size=2C range and cost have now made these devices rel=
iable and relatively cheap to use and they are now commonly used for monito=
ring the elderly and criminals or even to track migrating birds. Does anyon=
e know why  a GPS isn't standard equipment on a survival suit?=20
