All:

Dave Currie cell-phoned to say that he had found a yellow-bellied
kingbird at Hartlen Pt. It only was seen at a distance hovering over
the marsh at "Back Cove". Although the tail looked darkish, it did not
seem black, and he could not see white outer tail feathers.
Unfortunately his camera is not functioning, snd it disappeared.
Dominic Cormier with camera also couldn't find the bird a bit later.

So, it might have been something more exotic (Couch's or Tropical
Kingbird???). THIS WOULD REQUIRE PHOTO FOR FULL CONFIRMATION. It would
be good if anyone can visit HP with camera. I'm up to my ears today.

Cheers, Ian

Ian McLaren
