Pat Kelly has reminded you of the upcoming Bird Society AGM (details below)
Bird Society meetings have not been well attended of late=2C and any AGM is=
usually less exciting than watching paint dry=2C but I strongly encourage =
all NSBS members (or prospective members=2C or those who are simply curious=
) to come out. The Society is at a crossroads=2C and while I believe that =
the Society can be energized and made more relevant=2C it will not happen i=
n the absence of people. Please come out and be part of the Society's futu=
re.
Thursday=2C November 22=2C 2012 =96 Annual General Meeting of the Nova =
Scotia Bird Society
Location -- N.S Museum of Natural History=2C 1747 Summer Street=2C Hali=
fax=2C Nova Scotia=2C 7:30 p.m.
As usual=2C the AGM will be followed by a wine and cheese reception=3B =
a great opportunity to meet and mingle.
