Hi All
A friend and I went over to a little lake to get in a few
hours of fishing, casting at least - lol on the lovely afternoon.
A butterfly was flying around - I'm not too good on
butterflies on the wing but it looked like a painted lady to me.
It flew between two white ash trees. There might be sap
for it to feed on.
At home in the little brook a good hatch of Caddis Flies
is in progress, Chickadees and Junco are searching the bushs
by the stream for a snack and a Brook Trout is getting its share before
they hatch. I'm not sure the species of Caddis - we just call them
winter caddis.
A lovely day - I hope you enjoy it
Paul
