I just had a female Northern Cardinal foraging on the deck, closely followed
by a female White-winged Crossbill, the latter a first yard bird for me. The
Cardinal has been here for several weeks now. Several red-breasted
nuthatches and a white-breasted nuthatch seem to be regulars at the feeders
this year. RBNU was absent last year.
