Hi Peter and Linda....Wonderful! This site will be extremely useful to =
me as I compose my weekly photo Journals for 54 contacts on the mailing =
list. The fact that it excludes many of the species that do not occur =
here is a valuable asset . Many Thanks.

Subject: [NatureNS] Butterflies of Nova Scotia web site re-launched
Hi all-
We're happy to say that a completely re-designed version of the =
Butterflies of Nova Scotia web site is now ready. You can get to it =
here: http://novascotiabutterflies.ca/ .
We've made a lot of improvements:=20
a.. Every species of butterfly ever recorded in Nova Scotia (so far =
as we know) is included=20
b.. Every species is presented with at least one photo=20
c.. Photos can be enlarged by clicking on them
d.. Data on distribution, breeding status, flight period etc. have =
been updated=20
e.. A photographic table of contents makes it easier to locate =
species
This new design is much more photographically-oriented than its =
predecessor; indeed there are currently more than 200 photos, including =
where possible both upper and under-side views for many species.=20
We are greatly indebted to the generosity of many photographers for =
allowing us to use their images. In particular, Jim Edsall and Phil =
Schappert very kindly allowed us to use dozens and dozens of their =
photos. Please see the acknowledgements page for a complete list of =
contributors.
We hope that you find this new version useful and enjoyable. It's a =
work in progress and we would be happy to receive comments and =
suggestions.
