Hi all=20
Just returned from the Economy CBC-bit of a slow trip back to New =
Glasgow with snow-covered roads. Although the afternoon was a bit of a =
wipe-out, the wrap-up tally registered a nice 56 species. Best birds was =
a Clay-coloured Sparrow, ( seen by Brad McLaughlin and photographed by =
Bruce Shields). Two American Woodcock were seen, one by Joelle =
McLaughlin and another by a feeder-watcher. A female Barrow's Goldeneye =
was seen at Sand Pt. by myself and Charlie Kendell. Brad and Bruce had 2 =
N. Goshawks.=20
Also seen were 2 Northern Shrikes, 2 Northern Cardinals, 1 Chipping =
Sparrow, a number of Purple Sandpipers- I can't remember if it was 12 or =
20 by Bob McLaughlin's group. Brad and Bruce had a large flock of 375+ =
Snow Buntings.=20
cheers
Ken
