A couple appeared yesterday morning walking beneath the quince bush, about
ten feet to the north of our kitchen window, on the Wyman Road, outside of
Yarmouth. Light conditions are not sufficient to tease out details of
colour (thanks mainly to the snow). I did notice a pale throat on one bird.
Presume they are the brown-headed variety, but we live in hope of a return
of the Ruffs' exotic visitors, last year.
