I live just a few km from Barrett Lake, and locals know Coyotes are in the area. In fact there are homemade signs near our mailboxes when they are frequenting certain areas. Also on another site on the other side of Tucker Lake where I live.

I have never heard of any being right in around the homes/subdivisions since moving here 15 months ago.

Coyotes are everywhere these days, we are just reminded how much so when there is a carcass or two around for them to feed on and we see them.
