Hi all, Late this afternoon, there was a Barred Owl in the dense spruces off Serpentine Road, roughly the same area as around this time last year. Pretty hopeless to describe the exact location this time, but it's well worth including this area in walks and listening for the crows and jays. Black Rock Beach still has a handsome pintail drake and at least one female. Cheers, Andy Horn Halifax
