Dorothy Poole and I were out and about a bit this afternoon. The yellow-br=
easted chat was present at the tangle behind Sandy Hollow Apartments in Lun=
enburg as intially reported to me by Cathy Ramey. =20
=20
We tried for the gray catbird at the Bayport Plant Farm. We were told that=
it had been present there up until 10:30 this morning=2C but was not aroun=
d when we went there. There is so much great habitat there for the bird th=
at it likely is still around=2C but it could be anywhere. It had been tend=
ing in the shrubbary by a pond just inside of the road. =20
=20
While at Bayport the flock of greater scaup=2C roughly 100 was close to sho=
re. Dorothy and I just saw them when a boat with duck hunters came roaring=
in and put them up. So we were not able to determine if any other species=
were present with the flock. =20
