Ian McLaren and I covered the Mahone Bay and Lunenburg areas today. Highlights: a male
Barrow's Goldeneye (no female) with Commons off the Sawpit Road Park on the Lunenburg
Back Harbour; at a feeder on Clearway (Clearland Road) on the outskirts of Mahone Bay a
bright Pine Warbler and a Bullocks-like oriole with some Baltimore characteristics (likely a
hybrid) that has been present for some weeks.
