I made it to Sullivan's Pond right around 5pm today and was a little caught off guard by a great blue heron standing on the ice nearer the Ochterloney side. Any possibility this is the same bird that was spotted in Cape Breton recently suddenly realizing it's winter? Chris Kennedy in Dartmouth
