The Northwest Passage: Thursday, Feb. 7th, - 7:30 PM in the auditorium =
of the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History. Contact 405-7446
"For Just One Time, to Take The Northwest Passage". Michael Downing, =
with the Halifax Field Naturalists, will show photos, describe =
highlights, and share impressions from a commercial touring cruise which =
ran from late August to early September 2011. The route, followed the =
mainland coast from Coppermine to Iqaluit, passing through the Bellot =
Strait and then south of Baffin Island. Samples of muktuk will be =
available for the adventurous, and there may even be a cameo appearance =
by the ghost of Stan Rogers. 7:30 p.m. at the NSMNH
