Hi all:
Elizabeth Doull and I managed to tally 39 species today. The following are some of what we saw.
Lunenburg, Lunenburg, CA-NS

White-breasted Nuthatch 2
Carolina Wren 1 (I saw this bird yesterday, but did not report it as I only had a fleeting glimpse. I saw it today, but Elizabeth missed it. The bird according to house 331 had not been seen for a few weeks by him. Today though it had been quite active. There is a large maple below the house and on the bottom right there is a hole that the bird goes in and out of. Also on the left side of the tree higher up there is a knot with a hole that the bird goes in and out of). I initally saw it today and yesterday in the tangle across the road also. It worked its way along the bottom of the tangle and then in the back of the shed under a board leaning along the backside. People were just moving in the the young person who inquired about what we were seeing, is interested in birds.
